Become bigger than your trauma and get back to you!

What is somatic therapy?
Somatic therapy explores how different emotions change the body. Emotions have a body based residence (think about how your heart rate elevates during moments of anxiety). These therapies quiet down the emotional “charge” of trauma memories and triggers. They reduce arousal around the trauma and reconsolidate it into your memory bank without feeling anxious, panic, or intense fear. We also convert feelings of shame, guilt, and overwhelm into precious pearls of wisdom. You live your life forward instead of replaying the past. Once these trauma networks dissolve, space opens up for more presence, clarity, and inspiration! Naming emotions diminishes the power of panic and puts you back in the driver's seat. You redirect focus to your intuition, inner voice, and vitality! You learn to make peace with your anxiety and work with it rather than against it (yes, it is possible!). |
Healing, recovery, hope.
Hilary, Mary, and Michaela help concussion and mTBI patients, first responders and others who deeply desire to live a life of presence and connection outside of their anxiety. They teach skills and perspectives to help improve and manage symptoms related to anxiety, stress, emotional trauma and PTSD following work, injury, or life transition. Naming complex emotions that were once hidden brings them to the front of our awareness. This interrupts automatic stress cycles and creates room for regulation, control, presence, and joy! We help you get back to the deeper callings in your life and within yourself! Trauma resolution therapy also increases sources of joy, inspiration, and passion. For as much focus as we give to trauma resolution, we give an equal amount of focus to knowing yourself apart from the trauma and anxiety. We grow your relationship with your authentic self, create sources of joy, and build a life free from the heavy weights, ways of relating, and body presentations of trauma. |
Levity and laughter grow within!
